Georgian Refugees: Stuck Forever (2010)

Shamgona, GEORGIA, 2010 - Larisa (15) has lived all her life in a former kindergarten used as shelter for refugees from Abkhazia. She is born after the Georgian - Abkhazian war in 92-93. Together with her three sisters and her mother they share two rooms. It is estimated that some 250,000 ethnic Georgians have fled during the war from Abkhazia. They often stay in miserable conditions in old hotels or former student buildings.
