[SOCHI] [RUSSIA] [YOUTH] - 'I cry when I see what has become of our heritage,' the then president Putin said in 2003 when he visited Orlyonok children's summer camp. Orlyonok lies on the Black Sea, about 120km up the coast from Sochi. It was one of the former Soviet Union's many showpieces, a huge complex where the Soviet Union' s brightest children and a few special guests from other countries were allowed to spend their summer holidays.

After developing the films at home it appeared that the camera had (among others) a defect film transport system. Some negatives are pressed against each other, some overlap a little bit. ![Orlyonok, RUSSIA, 2011 - Orlyonok was one of the main Soviet Young Pioneer camps and is currently the main Children's Center in Russia. It lies on the Black Sea, about 120km up the coast from Sochi. Irina Kalishuk is from the camp's PR department. For 51 years, Orlyonok has been paid directly by the ministries in Moscow.
